The riding, which includes Côte-St-Luc and Hampstead, as well as part of Montreal’s Snowdon and Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhoods, has traditionally been one of the most faithful Liberal strongholds. Liberal David Birnbaum garnered 74 per cent of the vote in the 2018 general election.
Robert Libman won the riding for the anglophone protest Equality Party in 1989.
